INFO COCKTAIL WORKSHOP
Forget that standard cocktail workshop in a beach bar. We are taking you outside, to the sand!
From afar you can already see your table with delicious fresh fruit pieces, beautiful drink brands and special ingredients. This Tom Cruise has been a bartender for over 20 years and likes to share his secrets with you. No endless stories that aren’t interesting unless you’ve been in the business for years. Funny facts, our Tom likes that more!
Shaking, layering, stirring… everything will pass in this sunny cocktail workshop on the beach. You are going to make no less than 1, 2 or 3 tropical cocktails per person, you decide. And they are nicely drunk on large lounge sofas on the terrace!
THE COCKTAIL WORKSHOP
The cocktail workshop starts with a small introduction from our very own Tom Cruise. He gives you a short introduction to the world of cocktails and explains what makes a good cocktail a good cocktail. By asking your questions and responding to your answers, you will soon find out what you like and why you like it so much.
You learn that a good cocktail is very personal because there is no arguing about taste. If you are aware of the fact that you can make the cocktails you are going to make even better by adjusting them to exactly what you like and how to do it, you will receive a small master class.
Our Tom Cruise makes an example cocktail that can of course be tasted. Now you get to work on the first cocktail yourself, all at the same time. We make this cocktail step by step and everyone shakes at the same time, which of course produces nice photos and videos!
When you have finished the first creation, you can drink the cocktail in the sun and our cocktail bartender will convert the workshop table for the second cocktail.
If you have a nice buzz from your first cocktail, it’s time for the second round of the cocktail workshop. In the meantime you have already become routines and you know what is about to happen. This cocktail will therefore be a bit more difficult and ensures that you as cocktail gurus can complete this cocktail workshop.
As soon as you arrive at the tropical beach tent, you can report to the smooth bartender. Tell him that you have booked a cocktail workshop with us and the bartender knows enough! Our workshop host will be in front of you in no time and will take you to the beach for an afternoon full of FUN!
During the booking process, we ask you to choose a backup activity. There are several backup activities to choose from. Choose your desired backup activity so that we can take your wishes into account in case of bad weather. If you have chosen multiple outdoor activities that cannot take place due to bad weather, we will consult with you to choose one or more backup activities with the same value as the total amount of outdoor activities that you originally booked.
The backup activity Pub Quiz can be booked without dinner or lunch. The other backup activities can only be booked in combination with lunch or BBQ at the beach bar where your activity takes place.
We’ll review the weather forecast and can see what the weather is going to do up to 24 hours in advance. If we are unable to organise the activity(s) you booked due to bad weather conditions, we will contact you 24 hours in advance. Make sure you can be reached by phone and keep a close eye on your email inbox.
Your price is determined by the number of people you book with. The larger the group the lower the price.

Beachclub Copacabana is located in bustling Scheveningen, at the end of the famous shopping street Keizerstraat. This tropical beach club is one of the nicest on Scheveningen beach and has 480 seats. Both inside and outside there are cozy corners for workshops and tastings. We always place our beach activities next to the beach tent.
Beachclub Copacabana is easy to reach with tram 1 or 11 and bus 22 within walking distance. Jorplace beach hostel is also less than a 5-minute walk away. The address of Beachclub Copacabana is Strandweg 12, 2586 JK The Hague.

It can be quite busy in Scheveningen in the summer months and it is not always easy to reach Scheveningen by car. We therefore advise you to travel by public transport, if possible.
There are several trams and buses that run from the stations to Scheveningen. There are also several Park and Ride options so you can park for a cheap fare and then go by public transport to Scheveningen.
Our beach activities are often set up next to Beachclub Copacabana, Strandweg 12, 2586 JK The Hague.
From the tram stop (lines 1, 11 and 12) it is between a 5 – 10 minute walk to the place where we set up our beach activities. These tram lines all stop at Station Hollands rail or at The Hague Central Station.
If you have to travel between Scheveningen and The Hague, the best thing to do is to take line 1. (keizerstraat stop to stop The Hague centre) The tram ride takes about 20 minutes. You can check in with your public transport chip card on this tram or buy a separate ticket inside the tram.

Night bus
Have you been clubbing in The Hague and do you want to return your hostel in Scheveningen?
Trams run until 00:00 a 01:00 (see OV9292). Fortunately, there is also HTM night buzz that runs from various stops in the centre of The Hague every hour to Scheveningen. If you are with the pub crawl this bus stops at a 2 minute walk from the last club.
We recommend the Citytax and HTMC in The Hague if you are taken by taxi or picked up.
Please note that transport on the promenade is not allowed. If you are picked up or taken to Copacabana beach club please tell the taxi to stop at cocktail bar Sahara (1 minute from the beach club).

Have you booked a pub crawl with us and would you like to drive the taxi from the centre to your Hostel in Scheveningen? There is a taxi stop at the last club (1 minute walk) Advance booking is not necessary, as there are always enough taxis present.
